Dingle Wildflower View Print

from $100.00

The 2025 Print Release! Archival reproduction of the original painting from my time in Ireland. Contact artist for framing, installation or a custom size.

About the Work: View from when I climbed Eask Tower overlooking Dingle Harbor and the ring of Kerry- it's true that Dingle might be the most beautiful place in the world. The stone tower (not pictured in the painting), was built in 1847 during the famine, is accessed through a nice old man's farm, and you close and open the sheep gates as you ascend. After the workhouses closed during the famine, building this tower was considered famine work to pass the time. The history is fascinating and somber. And now, many tourists and locals hike the rugged path through the foxglove and sheep.
